Harold the Stagehand - White Christmas

Hark! The Harold's saying something. Hurry to the movie with Bing... reloaded as a stage musical called "White Christmas" - Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont Lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander. The dazzling score features well known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love a Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean,” and the perennial favorite, “White Christmas.”

Harold the Stagehand - Arsenic and Old Lace

Harold gives us a taste of TCT's upcoming production of Arsenic and Old Lace, running September 11th thru October 2nd. It is about the charming and innocent Brewster sisters. Two ladies who run a boarding house upstairs and populate their cellar with the remains of socially and religiously “acceptable” roomers; that is after they poison them with elderberry wine. Add to this the antics of their brother who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt; and the activities of the other brother, Jonathan a malicious killer on the loose, and you have the elements of a divinely inspired comedy.

Harold the Stagehand - Laughter on the 23rd Floor

Harold lets us peer into the office of the zany comedy writing team of these "Harold the Stagehand" episodes.... which is much like TCT's most recent show, "Laughter on the 23rd Floor" a peek into a 1950s television variety show which was inspired by Neil Simon’s youthful experience as a staff writer on Sid Caesar’s Your Show of Shows.
